In addition to a large number of Life memberships, we have uniquely high corporate membership from businesses large and small that have similar interests in the success of our maritime heritage We are one of the largest, most active chapters and are unique in that we have a very high level of corporate membership. Our council is involved, productive and rewarding. We interface routinely with the highest levels of Sea Service leadership.
We have been recognized as one of the outstanding councils in the Navy League. for the 24 straight years. Our location in the National Capital area means that our membership supports the National Navy League in more intimate ways than most other councils. One of the visible evidences of this support is that we provide the background collaboration and coordination for the annual Sea-Air-Space symposium, which is sponsored by the Navy League of the U.S. every spring
